The original Original. For you die-hard probiotic fans out there, this one is for you. Yes, it requires a bit of work to get my juices going (activation), but for some of you it's worth it. If you have BIG properties and LOTS of different applications, the Mother Culture route allows you to extend the volume of product and increase its cost-effectiveness. You'll get about 22 times the original amount of liquid after you activate - but hurry! You'll need to use me up in about 7 days to keep me at my best.
Just a few ways to use me up: inoculate your soil, accelerate your composting, clean your hot tubs and septic systems.

ProBio Balance™ Original is a liquid blend of beneficial and effective microorganisms produced through a natural fermentation process. These microorganisms, when introduced into any living system, promote the growth of naturally occurring beneficial bacteria to achieve a healthy microbial balance. It is a cost-effective, environmentally-safe, all-natural product used in a variety of applications, including:
- Inoculant for soil fertility
- Large-scale composing
- Crop waste treatment
- Conventional agricultural applications
- Household cleaner
ProBio Balance™ Original is produced through a natural fermentation process; it is not chemically synthesized or genetically engineered or modified. It consists of a wide variety of effective, beneficial, non-pathogenic aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms cultured in diluted molasses that are mutually compatible with one another. This mixture of selected microorganisms includes lactic acid bacteria, yeasts and phototrophic bacteria that are native to the North American continent.
The microorganisms in ProBio Balance™ Original are known to produce bioactive substances – substances that effect living tissues, vitamins, hormones, enzymes, amino acids, and antibiotics, which enrich and detoxify the soil. The organisms and processes of the proprietary SCD Probiotics Technology enhance plant growth and produce high yielding crops, which are drought, frost, pest and disease resistant without the need of any agricultural chemicals.
For customers not equipped or not interested in activating SCD Probiotic Mother Culture™ concentrates, we provide a line of ready to use products. This line includes SCD Bio Klean™, SCD Bio Ag®, SCD Bio Livestock® and SCD Odor Away™.
Storage: Store at room temperature out of direct sunlight. ProBio Balance™ Original is best if used before "Best before" date on product. Product does not require refrigeration.
*USDA Bio-Preferred products are products that are composed wholly or significantly of biological ingredients. A Bio-Preferred designated item is one that meets or exceeds USDA-established minimum bio-based content requirements.
It can be used as-is (diluted with water) or "activated", to improve cost-effectiveness. The activation process can take between 3-14 days. The fermentation process requires space, water and molasses (preferably organic). Through the activation process, one gallon of ProBio Balance™ Original can yield up to 20 gallons of usable and effective product. The activated product is most effective if used within 30 days.
Activated ProBio Balance™ Original can also be used to create an environment where grease, mold and rust do not thrive. This is due to the anti-oxidative properties of the product, making it an ideal industrial or household cleaner.
